Speak a Second Language at Home? You must live in the Ghetto.

Disgraced former speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, yesterday demonstrated (again) why he is, and always will be, disgraceful.

Appearing before a whooping, cheering crowd of wingnut women, Gingrich said that English was the language of success and foreign languages were that of the ghetto:

"We should replace bilingual education with . . . English so people learn . . . the language of prosperity, not the language of living in a ghetto."
