Donations of over a million dollars to Governor Rendell and Democratic State Senate Leader Bob Mellow, and others, seem to have paid off for Louis Denaples. Despite his fraud conviction for taking advanatage of the Agnes flood disaster and the persistent, documented, allegations of his mob ties, the landfill and bank owner from NEPA, who the slot commission was told was "a crook with ties to organized crime", purchased won his slots license yesterday.

well he had to pay with donations all those attorneys on the gaming board and none of them doing their homework. Want there a Clark placed on the board by rendell from allegheny county a past senator or a family member thereof? think of their past and all of the members on the gaming board missed it. you bet it was unethical, immoral more like it. gaming isnt to rip people off and only the rich survive by how much they contribute to politics. Business was made and failed on these licenses arenas and hotels alike.the lawyers and politicians decided from who they would get the bigger cut by who donated most.
