Rendell Trashes Santorum Tactic

A Big Fat Slob said...: Yeah, I think it would have been better if Rendell could have said he saw the ad while watching TV (with nothing better to do in the last five weeks before the election).

But, he knows, as does everyone else who is sentient (admittedly, a minority), from the media coverage that the advertisement:

*falsely portrays these people as members of the Casey for Senate campaign,

*falsely says that they donated to the Casey Senate campaign,

*fails to mention that at least two of them are also Santorum donors, and

*neglects to mention them that one of them died a year before Casey announced he was running for Senate.

And if you know all that, you already know it is trash from a desperate campaign.

On the other hand, Santorum has some living supporters and former aides actually IN jail, heading there, or under investigation. (See Rick's Friends.)
